New Delhi, 11 July (NNS): Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5mm held stable at Rs 1600 per kg owing to the sluggish offtake even after the lower level. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 25 per kg. Today, the arrivals of small cardamom declined to 44749 kg in the Green House Cardamom Marketing India Private Limited auction. The average auction price jumped to Rs 1351.54 per kg due to the heavy buying and sluggish arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the average auction prices were remained at Rs 1245.02 per kg in the last auction which held on 04 July. There is a fear that the upcoming crop gets affected owing to the recent floods in some areas of kerela. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of downtrend in the prices during the coming days.
