New Delhi, 17 July (NNS): During the previous week, the prices of cumin seeds declined by Rs.1500 to Rs.66,500 per quintal because of the increased profit-taking selling from the stockists even after the higher level. After this, its prices rose by Rs.500 to Rs.67,000 per quintal. The arrivals reported to be slipped by Rs.1000/1500 per quintal and the prices gained by Rs 100 per 20 kg because of the weak arrivals. The active contract ascended by Rs.1880 or 3.29 percent to Rs.58,980 because of the all-round speculative buying. There is no possibility of uptrend in the prices during the coming days..
