New Delhi, 25 July (NNS): The prices of cumin declined by Rs.500 to Rs.68,500 per quintal to do the sluggish sales at the higher level. Before this, the prices have jumped by Rs.1000 per quintal. There are about 3000/4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract went down by Rs.750 or 1.24 percent to Rs.59,720 because of the weak speculative buying. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
