New Delhi, 25 July (NNS): The prices of dry ginger jumped by Rs.1000 to Rs.42,000 per quintal because of the strong offtake even after the higher prices. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs.3000/3500 per quintal. In Kochi, the arrivals reported to be negligible and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The market sentiment may affect because of the weak availability and supply. There is no fear of downtrend in the spot Dry ginger prices during the coming days.
