New Delhi, 14 August(NNS): The prices of black pepper short heavy obtained during the previous month, but the market went up by Rs.600 to Rs.700 per kilogram after the decree meant due to the ongoing all-round profit-taking selling. The prices are reported to be high from the producing markets and the markets of Vietnam are also ruling at higher level, due to which, there is no possibility of downtrend in the prices and its prices me rose by Rs.40/50 per quintal due to the increased demand. There is still five months left in the arrival of the new stock. It is expected that the crop of Kochin gets affected during the coming days.
