New Delhi, 30 August (NNS): Here, cumin prices dropped down by Rs 1000 to Rs 61,000 per quintal because of the weak sale even after the sluggish prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down in the same proportion. There was a festival holiday in Unjha but there by about 3000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices slipped by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract went up by Rs 285 or 0.53 percent to Rs 53780 per kg owing to the limited speculative buying. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is a possibility of break on downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
