New Delhi, 11 September (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode asitis gatha declined by Rs 300 to Rs 14200 per quintal due to the weak buying even after the sluggish prices. Before this, the prices have declined by Rs.500 per quintal. There are about 1000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level. The active contract went down by Rs 258 or 1.74 percent to Rs 14500 per quintal due to the feeble speculative buying. There is no possibility of downtrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
