New Delhi, 13 September (NNS): Cumin prices went up by Rs.500 to Rs.64,500 per quintal due to the strong buying even after the higher prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. There are about 5000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract rose by Rs.6 70 or 1.11 percent to Rs.60,930, owing to the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain strong during the coming days.
