New Delhi, 13 September (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis went up by Rs 100 to Rs.14,000 per quintal due to the improved offtake at the lower level. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 100/300 per quintal. There are about 1900 bags of turmeric reported to arrive during the previous day and the prices also remained stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract jumped by Rs.3 44 or 2.51 percent to Rs.14030 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices may likely to increase during the coming one or two days.
