New Delhi, 14 September (NNS): The enquiry of small cardamom has been started increasing at the lower level. On the other hand, the arrivals reported to be declined by 5/7 percent during the last 10 days at the auction centres, due to which, there is no downtrend in the prices. The demand seems weak in the markets and the trade seems unfavourable because of the constant rainfall and floods. Despite all this, there is still long time left in the arrival of the new stock and today, the upcountry demand showed improved trend at the lower level. In this situation, the prices may not show more downtrend and the small cardamom which was being sold at Rs 1600/1650 per kg, now, its prices may rose by Rs 100 per kg during the current month.
