New Delhi, 25 October (NNS): The arrivals of turmeric reported to be weak in Erode mandi because of its sluggish prices. There were around 900 bags of turmeric reported to arrive, even after this, its prices held stable at the level of the previous day. Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis slipped by Rs 200 to Rs 13,200 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying. Before this, the prices have gone down in the same proportion. The active contract went down by Rs.54 or 0.41 percent to Rs.13116 per quintal because of the sluggish buying from the speculators. There is no possibility of improvement in the prices of turmeric during the coming one or two days.
