New Delhi, 23 November (NNS): Cumin prices went up by Rs 500 to Rs 46500 per quintal owing to the strong support of buying. During the previous day, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. There were around 3000/3500 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract went down by Rs 225 or 0.49 percent to Rs 45800 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. Its sowing improved by 15 percent in Gujarat during the current season, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
