New Delhi, 11 December (NNS): The prices of cumin went up by Rs 500 per quintal after the decrement of Rs 2000 per quintal during the previous week. After this, the prices have gone up by Rs 14000 per quintal. The arrivals of the farmer’s stock reported to be negligible and the prices went up by Rs 100/250 per 20 kg. The active contract ascended by Rs 260 or 0.71 percent to Rs 37120 per quintal because of the increased speculative buying. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
