New Delhi, 21 December (NNS): Cloves of Madagascar remained stable at the same level after reaching to Rs 900/910 per kg. The new crop of Madagascar has been started arriving, but the crop reported to be weak, due to which, the market may show uptrend during the near future. There, the market showed heavy downfall owing to the increased arrival pressure of the stock, but here, the market may not show downtrend on seeing the higher prices from the other countries rather than India. There is a lack of old stock in the markets and it is expected that the market may show uptrend because of the increased demand and higher prices in the international markets. This year, the arrival of the stock from Colombo reported to be weak because it is being sold at the bordering areas along with Myanmar for the local consumption. Its lalpari also being quoted at Rs 950/960 per kg.
