New Delhi, 20 December (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 13600 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the decrement during the previous days. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 1600 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode mandi and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract improved by Rs 38 or 0.31 percent to Rs 12302 per quintal owing to the limited speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to increase during the coming days.
