New Delhi, 22 December (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 13400 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the decrement during the previous days. During the previous days, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 6000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode mandi and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract jumped by Rs 74 or 0.53 percent to Rs 14044 per quintal owing to the limited speculative buying. There is no possibility of improvement in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
