New Delhi, 27 December (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 13500 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the decrement during the previous days. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 1600 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract went down by Rs 44 or 0.59 percent to Rs 14196 per quintal owing to the sluggish speculative buying. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
