New Delhi, 28 December (NNS): There were around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices dropped down by Rs 250 per kg during the previous day, Here, its prices slipped by Rs 500 to Rs 41000 per quintal because of the constant selling even after the weak prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 1000 per quintal. The active contract reduced by Rs 1515 or 4.49 percent to Rs 32200 per quintal due to the all-round speculative selling from the speculators. The market sentiments may affect owing to the record sowing of the new crop. There is no fear of downtrend in the prices during the coming days.
