New Delhi, 29 January (NNS): The prices of cumin held firm at Rs 30000 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. During the review week, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal, after this, its prices slipped by Rs 1000 per quintal. There were around 2000/4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices have gone down in the same ratio. The active contract market went down by Rs 815 or 2.94 to Rs 26900 per quintal because of the increased speculative buying. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
