New Delhi, 31 January (NNS): The prices of cumin dropped down by Rs 500 to Rs 29500 per quintal because of the weak sale even after the sluggish prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 3000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract improved by Rs 15 or 0.05 percent to Rs 26760 per quintal due to the limited speculative buying. There is a temporary downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
