New Delhi, 20 February (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom showed uptrend in the South Indian Green Cardamom Company Limited auction which held in Kochi. Its average auction price went down to Rs 1472.48 per kg owing to the sluggish buying and higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 1539.80 per kg in the auction which held on 13 February. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5mm held stable at Rs 1900 per kg due to the sluggish buying even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 50 per kg. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
