New Delhi, 21 February (NNS): The prices of poppy seeds held firm at Rs 1200 per kg owing to the sluggish offtake at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 50 per kg. The market sentiments may affect because of the upcoming consumption season. The spot poppy seeds prices will likely to remain strong during the near future.
