New Delhi, 01 March (NNS): Around 5500 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. Here also, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis slipped by Rs 100 to Rs 14200 per quintal due to the feeble buying. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 300 per quintal. The active contract dropped down by Rs 152 or 0.89 percent to Rs 17010 per quintal due to the feeble speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices may likely to remain strong during the near future.
