New Delhi, 04 March (NNS): The prices of cumin ascended by Rs 300 to Rs 27500 per quintal because of the constant buying from the stockists. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. The arrivals of cumin dropped down to 28000 bags and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract ascended by Rs 585 or 2.32 percent to Rs 25770 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
