New Delhi, 03 April (NNS): The prices of cumin rose by Rs 400 to Rs 27,000 per Kuntal. Due to the increment in its offtake at the lower level. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 35,000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices reduced by Rs 50 per quintal. On the other hand, the active contract jumped by Rs 835 or 3.56 percent to Rs 24300 per quintal because of the all round speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain stable at the same level during the coming one or two days.
