New Delhi, 23 April (NNS): Here, the prices of red chilli 334 no. held firm at Rs 21500 per quintal owing to the sluggish offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 1000 per quintal. There were around 70000/75000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices declined by Rs 1000/1200 per quintal. The market sentiments may affect owing to its inferior quality than the normal level. The spot red chilli prices may not show more decrement in the prices during the coming days.
