New Delhi, 25 April (NNS): The prices of red chilli dundidar fulcut eased by Rs 5 to Rs 220/240 per kg due to the profit taking selling after the uptrend during the previous month. The prices of red chilli have been ruling at the higher level in the markets of MP. In Bareilly line, green chilli prices went down from Rs 55/56 to Rs 47/48 per kg owing to the increased arrivals, but the prices have been ruling at the higher level as compared to the same period of the previous year. The situation also been same in the Guntur line, in these circumstances, there is a possibility of weak production at the current level, but the prices of teza gulcut gained by Rs 5/10 per kg because of the sluggish demand. Therefore, it is profitable to take the profit at the current level.
