New Delhi, 08 May (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis descended by Rs 300 to Rs 17100 per quintal owing to the sluggish sale at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100/200 per quintal. There were around 2800 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices reduced by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract slipped by Rs 78 or 0.42 percent to Rs 18394 per quintal owing to the feeble speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
