New Delhi, 20 May (NNS): Here, the profit taking selling of cumin has been started increasing during the last 4/5 days. Here, cumin prices jumped by Rs 3900 to Rs 30700 per quintal owing to the strong buying from the stockists at the higher level. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 32000/35000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 350/400 per 20 kg. There was holiday in the contract market, but before this, the active contract rose by Rs 350 or 1.26 percent to Rs 28180 per quintal owing to the increased speculative buying. The profit taking selling has been started increasing from the stockists during the coming one or two days.
