New Delhi, 21 May (NNS): The prices of cumin jumped by Rs 1300 to Rs 32000 per quintal owing to the strong sale at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 2000 per quintal. There were around 32000/34000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1670 or 6 percent to Rs 29510 per quintal owing to the all-round speculative buying. There is a possibility of break on uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
