New Delhi, 14 June (NNS): Here, cumin prices held firm at Rs 31200 per quintal due to the sluggish sale at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 400 per quintal. There were around 13000/14000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went down by Rs 20 per 50 kg. The active contract rose by Rs 150 or 0.52 percent to Rs 28950 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect owing to the ongoing new crop. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
