New Delhi, 17 June (NNS): Here, cumin prices held strong at Rs 31200 per quintal owing to the strong buying from the stockists even after the higher prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 400 per quintal. There were around 11000/12000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The contract market was remained close, but before this, the active contract jumped by Rs 245 or 0.89 percent to Rs 27915 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
