New Delhi, 20 June (NNS): The prices of went up by Rs 500 to Rs 32500 per quintal due to the strong offtake even after the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 10000/12000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract prices ascended by Rs 265 or 0.92 percent to Rs 29000 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
