The prices of cumin declined by Rs 500 to Rs 32000 per quintal due to the feeble sale at the higher level. The prices have gone up in the same ratio during the previous day. There were around 10000/12000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices reduced by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract slipped by Rs 250 or 0.87 percent to Rs 28515 per quintal owing to the weak speculative buying. There is a possibility of more downtrend in the prices during the near future
