New Delhi, 05 July (NNS): Here, cumin prices held firm at Rs 32400 per quintal due to the weak offtake at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 9000/10000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract declined by Rs 70 or 0.24 percent to Rs 29095 per quintal owing to the weak speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
