Black pepper: no uptrend

New Delhi, 18 July (NNS): The prices of black pepper markara softened by Rs 5 to Rs 690 per kg due to the sluggish offtake even after the feeble prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 30 per kg. Presently, both the prices and the arrivals remained stable at the same level of the previous day in Kochi. The market sentiments may affect because of the recent decrement in the prices of Vietnam. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot black pepper prices during the coming days.
