New Delhi, 01 August (NNS): The prices of cumin softened by Rs 100 to Rs 27900 per quintal owing to the weak sale at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract dropped down by Rs 85 or 0.32 percent to Rs 26750 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will not likely to remain sluggish during the coming one or two days.
