New Delhi, 12 March (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis dropped down by Rs 200 to Rs 12900 per quintal because of the sluggish sale at the improved prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per kg. There were around 8000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices eased by Rs 86 or 0.74 percent to Rs 11500 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
