New Delhi, 08 May (NNS): The arrivals of small cardamom rose to 68838 kg in the Sugandhiri spices promoters and traders private limited auction. Here, the average auction price declined to Rs 2042.23per kg owing to the weak buying and higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 2793.24 per kg which held on 29th April. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5mm reduced by Rs 150 to Rs 2400 per kg owing to the increased selling from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 50 per quintal. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
