New Delhi, 15 July (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom rose to 40564 kg in the Idukki District Traditional Cardamom Products Company Limited Auction. Its average auction price jumped to Rs 2629.58 per kg because of the strong buying after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 2500.18 per kg which held on 5th July. Here, the prices of small cardamom held stable at Rs 2650 per kg due to the sluggish buying from the stockists. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 50 per kg. There is no possibility of more downfall in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
