New Delhi, 04 September (NNS): The offtake of red chilli reported to be sluggish even after the higher prices. As a result, here, the prices of red chilli 334 no. remained firm at Rs 16000 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 40000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The market sentiments may affect because of the strong activeness from the exporters. The spot red chilli prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
