New Delhi, 28 October (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin jumped by Rs 500 to Rs 20800 per quintal owing to the improved sale even after the higher prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 10000/12000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices jumped by Rs 100/150 per 20 kg. The active contract prices rose by Rs 60 or 0.30 percent to Rs 20250 per quintal due to the limited speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect owing to the nominal changes in the weather conditions of Gujarat. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
