New Delhi, 18 June (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis reduced by Rs 200 to Rs 14000 per quintal owing to the weak offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 3500 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held firm at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices declined by Rs 86 or Rs 0.61 to Rs 14072 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain high during the coming days.
