New Delhi, 21 July (NNS): During the previous week, here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis declined by Rs 100 to Rs 13500 per quintal owing to the weak buying  from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 1800 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day.  The active contract prices dropped down by 0.60 percent or Rs 80 to Rs 13272 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the previous day.
