New Delhi, 01 August (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis held firm at Rs 13200 per quintal owing to the weak sale at the improved prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 7200 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices gained by Rs 322 or 2.52 percent to Rs 13094 per quintal due to the higher speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain high during the coming days.
