New Delhi, 19 August (NNS): The prices of dry ginger ascended by Rs 1000 to Rs 24800 per quintal due to the improved offtake even after the weak prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. Both the arrivals and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day in Kochi. The market sentiments may affect because of the ongoing monsoon season. The spot dry ginger prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
