New Delhi, 03 September (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis declined by Rs 100 to Rs 12800 per quintal due to the weak sale even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 5000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices slipped by Rs 100/200 per quintal. The active contract prices improved by Rs 10 or 0.08 percent to Rs 12240 per quintal due to the nominal speculative buying. There is a possibility of break on downfall in the spot turmeric prices sluggish during the coming days.
