New Delhi, 08 October (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 100 to Rs 13000 per quintal due to the improved sale even at the higher prices. Recently, the prices have improved in the same ratio. There were around 3500 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices rose by Rs 118 or 1 percent to Rs 11912 per quintal due to the higher speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
