New Delhi, 26 November (NNS): There were around 10000/11000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha. The prices of this famous commodity declined by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg due to the weak buying even after the feeble arrivals than the normal level. The prices of cumin gained by Rs 100 to Rs 22300 per quintal owing to the limited buying at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. The active contract prices improved by Rs 100 or 0.47 percent to Rs 21455 per quintal because of improved buying from the investors. The market sentiments may affect due to the continuous sowing. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain high during the coming one or two days.
