New Delhi, 26 November (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 14400 per quintal due to the sluggish offtake even after the previous downfall. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 300/400 per quintal. There were around 4000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices slipped by Rs 4 or 0.03 percent to Rs 14190 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain stable at the same level during the coming days.
